By 2012, all national health policy should specifically address men's health. That is top of the Forum's strategic priorities for the next five years set out in its Strategic Plan 2007-2012.
A summary of the plan is published today for external stakeholders, It includes the Forum's modified mission statement, its visions, values and beliefs as well as its strategic priorities.
The new mission statement is as follows:
The Men's Health Forum's mission is to be an independent and authoritative advocate for male health and to tackle the inequalities affecting the health and wellbeing of boys and men in England and Wales.
