My role

Does your MP back better health at work?

Has your MP signed the MHF's early day motion in parliament calling for better health provision in the workplace?

At last month's meeting of the All Party Group (APG) on Men's Health, the government's national director for health and work Professor Dame Carol Black, right, told MPs of the important role the workplace could play in providing a venue for public health work and how it could even be a more suitable channel for reaching men than through GPs.

'The MHF couldn't agree more,' said the Forum's parliamentary officer Colin Penning. 'This is an idea whose time has come and we're calling on MPs of all parties to recognise it by backing the motion.'

The early day motion (EDM) was tabled by Howard Stoate, the chair of the APG during Men's Health Week in June. Already nearly 100 MPs have signed. Has yours?
