Male health humour in Haringey

They’re still talking about it in Haringey. But if you missed the comedy health event held in the borough’s Bernie Grant Arts Centre during Men’s Health Week 2103, you can now catch the video.

Hosted by Eddie Nestor who presents Drive Time on BBC London 94.9, the event featured comedians Victor Romero Evans, Curtis Walker, Felicity Ethnic and Tony Hendricks, Dr Lez Henry, Lover’s Rock legends Janet ‘Silly Games’ Kay and Peter Hunnigale and DJ: Calvin Francis . As you’ll see from the video, the event used comedy (sketches, stand-up and an interactive talk on mental health) to communicate some serious health messages in an amusing way. Proof that male health can be fun.
