Gender Equality Code of Practice published 

The final text of the Code of Practice on the Gender Equality Duty for England and Wales is now available.

The document is marked draft as strictly speaking this remains its status until after it has been before parliament for 40 sitting days. Howvere, this is the final text and will not change.

The Code is the statutory guidance on the legal requirement of the duty and it should be used by public authorities to make sure they are complying with the law.† It inlcudes a specific duties section.
