Should Big Boys Cry?

Big Boys Should Cry is the title of a conference taking place on Friday 8th July at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Organised by Leeds Met Counselling Service in partnership with the Get Ahead Team, the Centre for Men’s Health and Mental Wealth UK, the day will be chaired by Dr Steven Robertson who is a Reader in Men’s Health at Leeds Met University.

Research officer Karl Witty who is helping organise the event, said: 'The main aim of the conference is to celebrate positive male mental health and share examples of good practice.'

The conference is likely to be attended by delegates working across the country within the fields of counselling, education, research and the helping professions. However, it is open to anyone who has an interest in the emotional health of men and boys.
