As part the MHF's efforts to diversify the ways it delivers health information, it is now possible to commission the award-winning MHF Mini Manuals in a variety of new sizes and formats.
These smaller MHF Mini Manuals have a number of benefits. They are far cheaper to produce and can be picked up discreetly and easily taken away. Therefore, they can be very effective in signposting specific company or local services to men. These resources represent an excellent branding opportunity as it is possible to include a range of logo's and contact details. Furthermore, it is possible to cover a broad range of subjects depending on your requirements.
The smaller versions of MHF are available in the following sizes:
It is possible to simply edit down an existing manual or to use copy provided by the client into the house style (although the latter option has higher cost implications).
To illustrate the potential of this approach the MHF recently worked with colleagues in Wigan to produce the following A6 resource. Please find an example of page from inside this mini manual below:
Due to economies of scale it isn't worth commissioing one of these mini manuals in a print run of fewer than 1000 copies. However, due to the simplicity and relatively low costs of printing these resources, it is possible to produce significant numbers of leaflets for relatively little expenditure.
