Conference: How will health and social care changes affect the voluntary sector?

The MHF is backing a major conference being organised by the other strategic partners of the Department of Health.

If you work in the voluntary sector and are wondering how the changes in health and social care will effect you, this could be the event you've been waiting for.

The organisers say: 'The health and social care world is undergoing radical change. This will have a profound effect on the voluntary sector. Join leading voluntary sector thinkers and Department of Health policy leads to gain insights into the role you can play in this fast changing environment.'

The conference, All Change: Gearing up for the health and social care reforms, takes place at the Hotel Russell in London on 21 November. The cost for most voluntary organisations is £99, but the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action are offering a limited number of bursaries for small VOs (turnover under £50,000).

The opening session 'Navigating the new landscape: An overview of the health and social care reforms and what they mean for the voluntary sector' will feature a keynote speaker from the Department of Health and be chaired by leading voluntary sector consultant Richard Gutch who is also trustee of NAVCA. Other expert panel members to be announced.
