Men's Health Conference in Leeds

Leeds Metropolitan University are hosting a summer conference on men's health.

Men, Health and Wellbeing: Critical insights will bring together experts from around the world who research men and masculinities in relation to health, lifestyle, consumption and wellbeing.

There will be an emphasis on critical, qualitative research which draws on men’s voices and priorities, including men who are marginalised in terms of social class, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity and age. The conference will be of interest to researchers, health professionals and policy makers.

Keynote Speakers include:

• Professor Raewyn Connell, University of Sydney, Australia
• Professor John Oliffe, University of British Columbia, Canada
• Professor Jeff Hearn, Swedish School of Economics (Hanken), Finland
• Dr Lee F. Monaghan, University of Limerick, Ireland
