My role
The specialist mental health organisations Mind and YoungMinds have backed June's Men's Health Week 2013 which will focus on men's mental health.
In Men's Health Week, the MHF wants to encourage men to take their mental well-being seriously and to seek help before it is too late. The charity is also encouraging health professionals and organisations to use Men's Health Week to enable men to talk.
Our national partners Mind and YoungMinds are committed to helping people with mental health problems and to providing advice to the professionals and family members working with them.
Men's Health Week's national partners will complement the expertise the Forum offers health professionals and the health information we offer men through MaleHealth.
Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They also campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
YoungMinds also provides expert knowledge to professionals, parents and young people through their Parents' Helpline, online resources, training and development, outreach work and publications.
We look forward to working with Mind and YoungMinds to offer even more information and support in Men's Health Week.
