The Forum's president Dr Ian Banks has been presented with the British Medical Association's highest award for his services to men's health.
The association medal which the BMA introduced this year is given for 'outstanding, sustained national service'. It has been awarded to just two people: Ian Banks and Dr Colin Smith, the chair of the BMA's medical academics committee.
As well as his work for the MHF, which he helped set up, Ian is president of the European Men's Health Forum, represents GPs on the BMA Council and is the most successful men's health author ever. Congratulations, Ian.
