Have your say about how men with prostate cancer should be treated and cared for across the NHS.
To mark Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the Prostate Cancer Charity (PCC) is drafting guidelines for prostate cancer treatment. You can help shape these by giving your views online through a simple questionnaire. Comment by Friday 13th April 2012.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Every year 37,000 men are diagnosed and 250,000 men are now living with the disease.
The PCC point out that currently 'men face a postcode lottery in the quality of prostate cancer services and care they receive. We believe that this is unacceptable. Men should have access to the same high quality care wherever they live.'
You could also write to your MP. He or she can help make sure quality care becomes a reality in your area. If they support our standards, they can publicise them to people affected by prostate cancer.
