Our new Man MOT website is thinking of sending for England rugby legend Jonny Wilkinson. Why? Because we need more conversions.
Man MOT enables men to log on to manmot.co.uk and chat to a GP online.
The next Man MOT surgeries are:
A survey of the data after a month of the service's three month pilot period is that Monday is more popular than Sunday. But perhaps more interesting is the fact that only around 6% of visitors actually go on to talk to a GP.
Man MOT site editor Jim Pollard said: 'We're not sure why the conversion rate is so low. Understandably people want to check the site out but if you'd asked us beforehand I think we'd have estimated that at least 10% of visitors would want to take advantage of the chance to ask a GP about anything at all, anonymously and free. We're not sure what the concern is - but that's what the pilot is for.'
Jim has blogged about the problem on the Man MOT website and is urging as many people as possible including those who visit the site but don't talk to a GP to complete the evaluation survey - it'll take less than 10 minutes.
