MPs and peers met this week to elect officers for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Men's Health and to discuss topics for future meetings.
The group, founded in 2001, held its latest annual general meeting where a chair and two vice chairs were elected.
Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE was elected chair. Lord Patel (right) has a long record of work in men's health and mental health. Paul Uppal MP and Baroness Masham of Ilton were re-elected as vice chairs.
The group also discussed a shortlist of topics for meetings until next summer. Popular topics were men and cancer, health and work, drug mis-use and self care. These meetings will be arranged for the coming year.
