How men respond to illness

How men respond to illness relates to their socialisation as a male and to the relationship they have with their bodies. Vital early signs of disease may be missed, either through a lack of understanding or avoidance of facing up to what the changes mean. As men are reluctant users of health services, health professionals and policy makers have to consider how best to target them and make services more accessible. Click to download.
